Spake Glass
Spake Glass
The studio of award-winning glass artist Thomas Spake, located on a picturesque 50-acre hilltop farm in rural Jasper, Tennessee, at the mouth of the Sequatchie Valley and the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
Inspired by the surrounding rolling hills, hardwood forests, wildlife, and natural landscapes, Thomas creates one-of-a-kind hand-blown glass vessels, sculptures, ornaments, and functional art pieces. His work captures the colors, textures, patterns, and erosion of nature—think sun-dappled impressionist scenes, river pebbles, gardens, and wild spaces—transformed into matte-finished, often carved glass that feels both contemporary and timeless.
