Your community hub for expert horticulture advice, education, and hands-on gardening support in Jasper and surrounding areas.
Operated through the UT-TSU Extension Marion County office, this volunteer-driven program trains certified Master Gardeners who share research-based knowledge on everything from soil health, pest management, and vegetable gardening to landscaping, native plants, and sustainable practices tailored to our Tennessee climate.
What They Offer:
- Free or low-cost gardening advice — Call or visit the Extension office for answers to your plant problems.
- Educational classes & workshops — Seasonal topics like vegetable starting, pollinator gardens, and more.
- Plant sales & events — Annual spring festivals, seedling/plant giveaways, and fundraisers that support community projects.
- Demonstration gardens & community projects — Beautiful examples and volunteer work that beautify Marion County.
- Youth & school programs — Helping the next generation develop green thumbs.
Located at UT-TSU Extension Marion County Office, 302 Betsy Pack Drive, Jasper, TN 37347. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (call ahead to confirm)
