Good Nature Farm

Good-Nature Farm is a small, low-impact produce farm in Palmer, Tennessee. We use sustainable practices and strive to grow as environmentally friendly as possible. We are proud to be providing local food and caring for the land on the Southern Cumberland Plateau.

We are Bill Dellinger, Tiffany Hartung, and 2 rescue cattle dogs.
Bill grew up working on his family’s produce farm outside Charlotte, North Carolina. As a teenager, he swore he would never farm again. But now he’s getting back to his family roots and putting those valuable skills to use here in Grundy County, Tennessee.
Tiffany’s great-grandparents were dairy farmers in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. She’s been an avid backyard gardener and chicken keeper, and now is scaling up.
In 2023, we bought 59 acres of fields and forest along the Collins River in Grundy County, Tennessee. We built our house, doing much of it ourselves while we lived in an RV. We started working the old hayfield into garden rows and improving the soil. In 2025, we built a greenhouse to extend the season.
In our gardens, greenhouse, and fields, we grow tomatoes, corn, peppers, cucumbers, summer and winter squash, okra, sweet potatoes, eggplant, beans, cabbage, broccoli, and have a flock of egg chickens.
