A vibrant nonprofit artist gallery, working studio, classroom, and entertainment destination in the heart of downtown South Pittsburg, TN. Launched as a program of South Pittsburg Area Revitalization Quest (SPARQ), it serves as a creative hub that nurtures local artists, promotes creative placemaking, and helps revitalize the community through art and entertainment.
Founded on the vision of turning vacant downtown spaces into active creative hubs, Arts in the Burg attracts visitors, supports economic growth, and builds community pride. It has received recognition, including innovation awards, and collaborates with regional partners like the Tennessee Arts Commission and Thrive Regional Partnership.
Visitors can browse and purchase one-of-a-kind artwork from working artists, observe creators in their studios, and enjoy a variety of programming,
Events and Programs include:
- Art classes (watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, anime, art journaling, music lessons, and more)
- Second Saturday events with live music, indie films, themed parties, food trucks, and beverages
- Gallery shows, art markets, vendor events, and community mixers
- Youth and senior activities

- Gallery Hours: Thursday–Friday: 3:00 PM–7:00 PM | Saturday: Noon–7:00 PM (or when the “Gallery Open” sign is out).
