This family-owned business operates two foundries in town and is a must-visit destination for cooks, history buffs, and families. Visitors can explore the Lodge Museum of Cast Iron and the flagship Lodge Factory Store, both conveniently located together.
What to Expect:
- Lodge Museum of Cast Iron — An interactive, family-friendly experience featuring the World’s Largest Cast Iron Skillet (over 18 feet wide and weighing 14,360 pounds), exhibits on cast iron history, how cookware is made, Southern food culture, and hands-on displays.
- Lodge Factory Store — Shop the full line of seasoned cast iron skillets, Dutch ovens, enameled cookware, accessories, plus factory seconds at great prices. Friendly staff provide seasoning tips and recipe ideas.
- On-Site Dining — Big Bad Breakfast restaurant inside the museum building for Southern comfort food.
